Adding Pictures
You can add pictures into your blog. It is not entirely logical, so I will try and explain. You cannot load pictures directly into your blog. However you can upload the picture onto the Loose Threads site, and then include that picture into your blog.
Before you start, get your pictures you want to include into their own files (normally jpg format pictures work best. Try not to make these files too big – try and resize so that they are no more than 500 pixels wide.
Write your blog in the normal way. In this blog I have added some example text before the picture, and some text that I want to appear after the picture. Note - in all these pictures the page has been compressed so looks a bit unclear. It should be enough to understand what to do when you work through it, however - if you need a clearer picture - double click (left mouse button) on the ‘unclear’ picture and it will show as full size. in your browser.
There is a box below the normal text box that has ‘upload’ at the top of it. This is where you upload your photograph.
Select your photo - in this case I am choosing a picture of a frog
Press the open button and you can enter a title, and description of the photo.
Then press the upload button (you may have to scroll down slightly to see this. The file is then uploaded and displayed note that you are in the browse window (you can also see the browse all tab (you can see all the pictures is you press this - but don’t do that now!). Select Full size on show and leave it to point to file on the ‘link to’ part. You are now ready to include this into your blog. Make sure the edit point (cursor) is in the place where you want to picture to go (in this case between the two lines). Then press the “send to editor” button.
After pressing "Send to editor" you will then see the photo in the blog (you can alter the size by clicking on the photo and dragging the corners in the normal way. You can then publish in the normal way as well.
Hope that helps - have a go following this example - it is not that hard really.
