My leafy garden quilt

Here is a picture of myself and Erica holding up my new leafy garden quilt, it is now quilted but I want to add some hand quilting at a later stage.  I wasn’t feeling very well last week, and I wasn’t up to wedding dresses.  I wanted to do something to cheer myself up - using this fantastic fabric from Kaffe Fassett and Rowan  did the trick. I love sewing with colour and seeing something coming together very quickly is very satisfying.  I will be taking it up to Nature in Art in Gloustershire on Monday with Mary when we have our interview for an exhibition in 2011.
